I am feeing great, I can't get into a second stage garment yet but I am patient.  My bruises are getting better, my swelling is a little more in my lipo.  My cheeks looks fabulous, my lips are still big :)  Eyebrows are still high as well!

June 4, 2004 - Suture Removal (30 days post)
Being in such a dry climate the sutures are not dissolving fast enough.  So, they are getting inflamed.  I let Dr, Rusca know and he said take them out NOW.  He though they had already come out.  I had already removed one the day before because it was getting very inflamed and had pus in it.  That hurt so bad, it was like my head caught on fire when I pulled it out.

So when Marc came home, I told him he had to take them out so he scrubbed them in peroxide like Dr. Rusca instructed and began clipping the larger sutures.  Not all of them hurt to be pulled out, just the ones closer to the font.  The smaller sutures were a lot easier.

It was the larger sutures which were bothering me to begin with (as you can see in the pic), not the smaller ones.  The larger ones kept the tension off the little sutures.

As you can see after the sutures were out, the inflammation went down very quickly.  It also felt much better an hour later.   I will take updated pics of my incision soon.

June 7, 2004  (33 days post)
For some reason my eyebrow hair is growing.  My left eyebrow is coming in pretty well, (look closely) but the right is only getting hair at the very end.  I am using some new eyebrow powder with a slant brush. I haven't decided if I like it.  It comes off way to easy.  I can't wait to get them tattooed on.  As soon as Dr Rusca gives me the okay, it is ON.

BTW I took these pics this morning to show the Ogee curve of the cheeks:

1 night before & 33 days after

I am working on a the 3/4 view pics.  The before was the night before surgery and the after was today.  The 3/4 and side pics taken in the hotel came out blurry so I will try to get a copy from Dr Rusca, plus I will take more afters at his office next week.
