And yes, I have seen the areolae get "taller" after a crescent lift! I know what you mean!
Have you ever used silicone sheeting right after the incision heals until several months post surgery? I mean as soon as the wound actually closes (but is still flaking) I have used it. I cannot use steristrips because I blister. |

I have under the muscle and I can make them do weird things if I flex them but I really don't think they have inhibited my activity.
I have, however, had two kids since I've had them put in and need a lift. Any suggestions. I'm a DDD now. I can maybe get to a DD by losing 10 lbs or so. I don't want a full lift but that is what they want to give me. My boobs got really huge when I was pregnant. It was almost unbearable. |

Has anyone had any experience with the "Stevens Laser Bra"? It uses your own tissue to create an internal bra that is fastened to the chest wall. If it doesn't cause those anchor type scars, Id be interested.

I have read quite a bit about that. I am pretty sure it is the same scar as the anchor. It is, however, suppose to hold longer than the traditional lift.

Marianne, I'd be interested in hearing from you. I have 34DDD and might be looking at doing something similar to you. My husband being a boob man might be willing to foot the bill for multiple lifts if it means no vertical scar. My back hurts bad now so the implant will probably have to go.

in the past but the expense kept me from doing it.
I had to remove my implants after multiple failed lifts from the pressure of the implants on the suture line so if you can avoid that then that would be awesome. I think a GREAT supportive bra that keeps the weight off of the sutureline somehow is imperative, as well as hopefully there is no irritation of the suture line and surrounding skin from to the steri strips (if used) I had this problem too, as well as a polypropylene knot sticking out of the skin which didn't help. |

Hi,
I just worked with a patient that just has 1400cc +implants removed. They do not make this size in the US. Anyway this gals skin was soooo thin expanders had to be used in order to have some new skin. As an aside she had multiple procedures by other PS's and her breasts were a mess. The process included 3 surgeries ( including one to create a new crease within the scar tissue). So far so good. It is miraculous what can be done with skilled hands. |
