Facial Fat Transfer, Liposuction, and More!!!

My mom, who is 51 years old, just won a contest in Texas, she will be given $250,000 worth of free cosmetic surgery this year, kind of like spinoff of Extreme Makeover. She has never had anything cosmetic done in her entire life. In two weeks, she gets full body vibro liposuction with fat transfer to the breasts, butt, and face. Dr. Johnson has some new technique called FAMI (http://www.innovationsmedical.com/fami.php) he will be performing this on my mom. I am really excited to see the results of all of this, he is promising to give her a 24 inch waist! Also, I am excited to share the full experience on here, if anybody is interested in these procedures. Perhaps I can convince her to let me take some photos of her before, after, and throughout the healing process. After this major surgery, she will have Thermage done on her entire body and face, then some injectables.

She had FAMI done today! They harvested the fat from her arms and put it back in her face. Before all that though, she had Thermage done to her entire face. I will keep everyone updated on her results!

Update: Going to spend the night there and take care of her in the morning, I will take some photos!

but I've also heard some controversial things about Thermage. I've actually had it done on my thighs and wasn't all too impressed with it. My mom does have a lot of skin tightening issues though, so she was a better candidate from the start. We are hoping it tightens some of her hooded eyelids, and lifts her face. As far as fat wasting, well I'm not sure because he performed the Thermage THEN the fat grafting, so I would think this would be more of an issue if the fat grafting was done first. She goes in two weeks to have Thermage and liposuction (vibro lipo and smart lipo) done to her entire body. It supposedly takes six months or more to see results from Thermage, so we will see!
